Richard Branson’s Books: Why Did We Review Three?

When we mentioned Richard Branson in one of our posts we got an instant, strong, positive response. And why not? He’s an iconoclast who’s made good on his own terms. He started from nothing, and he’s been at it for over 40 years. When he writes… should we read? There was only one way to find out. GoodBusiness Monday: Warren Buffett, Tea, and a Link

‘The Effective Executive’ Business Book Review

Do you want… no, need desperately… to get things done?  Why did GoodBusiness bother to review Peter Drucker’s “The Effective Executive”, a book first published in 1967 and a business classic?  Why should you read further? I have a friend, a long time member of the Service Core of Retired […]

Business Book Review: Great Minds of Business

“Take the measure of the people at the top of a business and you will get a clearer sense of that company’s prospects than from its balance sheet, profitability, cash flow, market share, and market capitalization.  The people matter most, and accounting cannot quantify their value.  Similarly, the drama of […]
